Introduced in 2021, the course was developed by specialists in Early Years and sustainability
June O’Sullivan, CEO of the London Early Years Foundation (LEYF), and Nick Corlett, LEYF’s
Sustainability Lead. Together they have over 40 years’ combined experience in the sector.

The aim of this course is to explore how to introduce
the principles of sustainability through pedagogy,
process and practice, enabling Green Champions in
Early Years settings.
Delivered in six sessions, every two weeks, the
course will explore each of the learning outcomes
in detail listed below.
Timing: Six modules presented every two weeks
Location: Delivered online via video conferencing
Course materials: Included and sent to you in advance of your course start date
Course duration: 12 weeks
Cost: £550 (£100 deposit due upon enrolment and remaining £450 due 2 weeks before start of course)
Entry requirements: You must be currently working in Early Years
