Rated Good by Ofsted, Micky Star Nursery and Pre-School provides Early Years education and childcare to children from birth to 5 years old.
You can find us just off the Edgware Road, close to Edgware Road and Paddington stations. We’re a large, purpose-built nursery with two gardens, one for toddlers and pre-schoolers and one for babies.
Our experienced staff have set up the nursery as a free-flowing educational space. The children enjoy gardening and getting messy in our mud kitchen, rounders, yoga, science experiments, dialogic reading and more.
Pre-school children and teachers also enjoy forest school outings to explore the outdoors and learn about the environment, as they take part in wild activities.
Our chef prepares all meals and snacks, using recipes from LEYF’s nutritious menu.

Beverley, nursery manager
Hello, my name is Beverley and I've been the manager of Micky Star since 2009 and have worked for LEYF since 1995. Our family-friendly nursery is warm and welcoming, and a real part of the local community. Parents particularly like how we celebrate current events and include the whole family. We have lovely large and spacious rooms, and a fabulous outdoor space, which includes a new covered learning area.

Food and nutrition at LEYF
Healthy eating is important at LEYF. Our chefs, trained at our Early Years Chef Academy, understand children’s specific nutritional needs, and how to encourage children to be adventurous in their tastes. We cater for different dietary requirements and allergies.
