‘Children are extremely happy and thrive in this nursery, which is highly effective and inspiring.’ Ofsted

Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, Cumberland Road Nursery and Pre-School provides Early Years education and childcare to children from birth to 5 years old.

You can find us in Plaistow, close to Canning Town underground station and West Ham and Star Lane DLR stations.

Our friendly, dedicated staff run lots of activities designed to bring out the potential in every child. No day is the same and the children enjoy science experiments, cooking, gardening, construction, messy play with sand and water and more.

We have a food bank on-site, which provides additional support to parents. Our in-house chef provides all meals for the children, using healthy recipes from LEYF’s menu.

Food and nutrition at LEYF

Healthy eating is important at LEYF. Our chefs, trained at our Early Years Chef Academy, understand children’s specific nutritional needs, and how to encourage children to be adventurous in their tastes. We cater for different dietary requirements and allergies.
