Our Early Years Educators create inspiring experiences for our children whilst establishing a nurturing environment and encouraging bravery and curiosity in their development.

As an Early Years Educator, you deliver the EYFS curriculum through child-led activities. You use your fun and creative flair to provide engaging learning opportunities for the children.

Early Years Educators have relevant child care qualifications at Level 3 or above, the experience of working in an Early Years setting, a good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection, and a positive and proactive attitude to work.

Job requirements

  • The successful candidate will have:
  • Experience working in a nursery setting, helping to organise table and chair at lunch time.
  • Assisting with associated duties (e.g. cleaning up spillages, ensuring good hygiene practice)
  • Experience supporting a team and working in a team atmosphere.
  • Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding policies.
  • encouraging good manners and supporting healthy eating
  • Supporting the children to use cutlery while promoting independence and positive behaviour
  • Managing the children’s behaviour at lunchtimes, dealing with minor first aid needs.

About the nursery

Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, Colville Nursery and Pre-School provides Early Years education and care to children from birth to 5 years old.

You can find us in Notting Hill, close to Ladbroke Grove and Westbourne Park tube stations.

Our children have many activities to choose from, including science experiments, yoga, dialogic reading, woodwork, cooking and more. They also love to explore outdoors and go shopping at Portobello Market or spotting wildlife at nearby Holland Park.
