Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, House of Commons Nursery and Pre-School provides Early Years education and childcare to children from birth to 5 years old.
You can find us on the Parliamentary Estate, close to Westminster tube. We’re a bright, spacious nursery, with plenty of natural light.
Our experienced staff inspire learning through curiosity and discovery. The children enjoy activities from science to woodwork and cooking, obstacle courses, sensory play and more.
The children also love to get outdoors – buying fruit and veg in Chinatown or climbing trees at St James’s Park.
We get parents and carers involved with nursery events including parent workshops, coffee mornings, graduations and Christmas events.
Our on-site chef prepares all meals and snacks, using recipes from LEYF’s nutritious menu.
House of Commons Nursery and Pre-School is exclusively available to the following groups: Members of the House of Commons, Members’ staff, House of Commons and Parliamentary Digital Service employees, House of Lords Peers and staff (including the grandchildren of these pass holders), Press Gallery Media Pass Holders and Contractors situated on the Parliamentary Estate.

Hello, my name is Michelle and I'm the manager at House of Commons Nursery & Pre-School. I have worked at LEYF since 2016. We have a fantastic staff team, who inspire the children every day. People would describe me as creative, dynamic and passionate about the nursery and the children in our care.

Food and nutrition at LEYF
Healthy eating is important at LEYF. Our chefs, trained at our Early Years Chef Academy, understand children’s specific nutritional needs, and how to encourage children to be adventurous in their tastes. We cater for different dietary requirements and allergies.
