Why your opinion matters
Currently there is very little research into Early Years nutrition (0-5 years old). London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) is spearheading research across families and Early Years practitioners, but we need your help.
The UK is experiencing an early childhood obesity crisis. Recent data (2019/20) from the National Childhood Measuring Programme (NCMP) has reported that 23% of children aged 4 to 5 years old are overweight or obese as they reach Reception year.
To understand more about attitudes to childhood nutrition, we need to hear from parents and carers like you.
If you have a child aged under 8, we would love to hear about your experience and views of food at home and when your child is in nursery or school.
This survey will help us to raise awareness and push for solutions to early childhood obesity.
Who are we?
LEYF is a charitable social enterprise providing high quality early education and childcare, and supporting families in giving children the best start in life. We have asked CEEDA, an independent research agency, to carry out this short survey on our behalf. Findings will be reported anonymously and used to help shape our services for families.
