Despite the challenges of the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis we are still recruiting for staff in our nurseries. We are only able to conduct telephone interviews at this point in time as we need to follow the Government’s guidelines on social distancing.
London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) is keen to hear from you and the Recruitment Team will be reviewing all applications. We will then be offering telephone interviews to successful candidates. We can then advise you on the next stage in the recruitment process. Please keep applying.
Henry Fawcett Nursery & Pre-School is located in Kennington, South London. Our busy nursery is the heart of the community and is now looking for a Room Leader for the preschool room. Our new Room Leader will lead the room and a team of Early Years professionals to create and plan daily routines featuring activities that encourage children’s curiosity. You will be role modelling behaviours for other members of staff as well as for the children with your creativity and passion.

I've been the manager at Henry Fawcett Nursery since 2019 but at LEYF since 2016. Our team brings a wealth of experience and comes to work every day ready to give the children a wonderful learning experience. We're based in a Primary School and Children's Centre so we have lots of professionals around us as well as community classes we can link parents to. I believe that every child should be treated as an individual with diffrent interests, skills and passions.
We know it’s our people who make LEYF great. That’s why we value each staff member and offer:
● Pay and conditions above the national average in the nursery sector
● A nurturing, fun and value-led working environment
● An award-winning staff training and development programme
● The opportunity to make a real difference to children’s lives
