Job Description

We are seeking a Nursery Chef to join a tight-knit team in Henry Fawcett Nursery (Lambeth). Our Chef supply the children with healthy and nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day.

We are currently looking for ambitious, hard-working chefs to work from 8:30-5:30 pm Monday-Friday. You will be working at 2 sites, starting the day at Stockwell Gardens Nursery where you will cook for Henry Fawcett (taken by taxi to the nursery).

 

Job Requirements

  • Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Good hygiene practices
  • Ability to assess all stages of the food preparation process in accordance with HACCP
  • Children’s dietary requirements (Understand the importance of following the guidelines within the Healthy eating and Allergy Policies).
  • Experience in a busy kitchen
  • A positive and proactive attitude to work
