Despite the challenges of the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis we are still recruiting for staff in our nurseries. We are only able to conduct telephone interviews at this point in time as we need to follow the Government’s guidelines on social distancing.
London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) is keen to hear from you and the Recruitment Team will be reviewing all applications. We will then be offering telephone interviews to successful candidates. We can then advise you on the next stage in the recruitment process. Please keep applying.
We are looking for talented, inspiring educators to work as bank staff. Are you a skilled and talented Level 3 or above Early Years professional but unable to commit to a full-time role?

Our BANK team provide cover in various LEYF nurseries in the local area. We know navigating around London can be difficult, so our BANK team are not expected to travel over an hour when supporting different locations.

I have been part of the LEYF family since 1986 and have managed the Eastbury Nursery since 2014. Our nursery is special because there's a warm, friendly, family feel to it. We also have a huge outside space with several smaller spaces for the children to enjoy. I'd describe myself as warm, friendly and supportive - much like our nursery! One of my proudest moments was supporting a family to access childcare and additional services so that the mother could reach her true potential and gain confidence. I believe that every child should have the opportunity to receive the best care and education, regardless of their family's income or background.
We know it’s our people who make LEYF great. That’s why we value each staff member and offer:
● Pay and conditions above the national average in the nursery sector
● A nurturing, fun and value-led working environment
● An award-winning staff training and development programme
● The opportunity to make a real difference to children’s lives
