Job Description

We are looking for talented, inspiring educators at our Barking & Dagenham Nurseries to work as Bank Staff. Are you a skilled and talented Level 3 or above Early Years professional but unable to commit to a full-time role?

Maybe you are continuing your studies or looking after the family and need your hours to work around your lifestyle? Then joining our Bank team is a fantastic opportunity for you!

Our Bank team provides cover in various LEYF nurseries in the local area. We know navigating around London can be difficult, so our Bank team is not expected to travel over an hour when supporting different locations.

Job Requirements

  • Full and relevant child care qualification at Level 3 or above.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and how this is monitored in a nursery setting.
  • At least 6 months experience working in an early years setting
  • To encourage a supportive team atmosphere and the ability to work together in a positive and compassionate way.
  • To continually strive for best practices in yourself and inspire others.
  • To be dedicated to achieving the highest standard of education and care
  • Have a passion for making a difference in their communities.
  • A child-centered approach to teaching using creative and exciting methods to engage and stimulate.
