Job Description

We are recruiting an Early Years Assistant initially on a 6-month contract at our stunning Conservatoire Nursery. The nursery is based in a Victorian building in the heart of the thriving Blackheath Village which is just a stone’s throw away from the mainline train station as well as local bus routes.

As an Early Years Assistant, you will build close relationships with the children and their families ensuring that routines are followed and that every day has something unique and fun in store for them. You will support the teams in the nursery and take part in the activities which help to stimulate the children and support their learning and development.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in an Early Years setting is desirable
  • A passion for helping with children’s development
  • Proactively implement safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
  • You must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
  • Be able to support the management team to meet all Ofsted requirements and to ensure that these are always maintained
  • A positive and proactive attitude to work
  • A team player who uses their own initiative and who thrives working in a busy and exciting environment
