Job Description

Our Playhouse Nursery is located within the Moonshot Community Centre, New Cross. The nursery is close to local bus routes as well as New Cross and New Cross Gate stations. The nursery is very modern and has 4 rooms with each leading to separate, outdoor areas where the children can broaden their learning and engage in many different activities, all while having fun in a safe environment.

 

We are looking for a new Early Years Educator to join the warm, friendly team on a permanent basis. As an Early Years Educator, you will build strong relationships with parents and colleagues as well as the children in the nursery. You will be assigned key children whom you will work closely with ensuring they are being stimulated and meeting their learning goals and milestones, this will include completing observations and planning activities.

 

Job Requirements

  • Level 3 or above in Early Years Childcare or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and how this is monitored in a nursery setting.
  • experience working in an early year’s setting- baby room

• The Nursery consists of baby room, a toddler and a preschool room
• Total capacity of Nursery: 30
• Opening times: 8am – 6pm
• Bright spacious spaces that all lead to the garden area
