Job Description

Leys Nursery & Pre-School is recruiting for a Nursery Assistant/ Early Years Practitioner/ Early Years Educator for a Monday – Friday 15:30- 18:30 position. This nursery is a 15-minute walk from Dagenham East, based centrally supporting the community around it.  This is a well-equipped nursery with an enthusiastic and passionate team delivering high-quality childcare and education.

This vacancy is for Nursery Assistant/ Early Years Practitioner/ Early Years Educator looking for a Monday – Friday evening (15:30- 18:30) position. We are looking for our next early years leaders who are ready to learn and progress to the next part of their careers.

Job Requirements

  • At least 6 months experience working in an early years setting.
  • “can do” positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection.
  • Good knowledge of EYFS and its different areas.
  • Experience in planning activities based on children’s interests.

Working at Leys Nursery and Pre-School

  • The Nursery consists of a baby, toddler and preschool room
  • Total capacity of Nursery: 49
  • Opening times: 8am – 6pm
  • Safe and varied outdoor garden
