Job Description

Our South Bermondsey Nursery is seeking  Early Years Educators to join their hard-working team from 9am – 3pm, Term Time only. The nursery is in a purpose built building which is also home to a Children’s Centre, they have a large garden area where children are able to explore and are encouraged to take part in messy play. Located close to local bus routes as well as London underground and National Rail stations South Bermondsey Nursery and Pre-School is an important community hub, providing much-needed support for local families.

 

Job Requirements

  • Full and relevant child care qualification at level 3 or above
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and how this is monitored in a nursery setting.
  • At least 6 months experience working in an early year’s setting
  • To be able to produce meaningful Observations
  • To encourage a supportive team atmosphere and the ability to work together in a positive and compassionate way.
  • To continually strive for best practices in yourself and inspire others.
  • To be dedicated to achieving the highest standard of education and care
  • Have a passion for making a difference in their communities.
  • A child-centered approach to teaching using creative and exciting methods to engage and stimulate

Working at South Bermondsey Nursery and Pre-School

  • 2x baby rooms, 2 x toddler rooms, 2 x preschool rooms.
  • 96 Place nursery
  • Opening Times: 8am – 6pm
  • Large shared access to a secure, enclosed outdoor play area with access from each room.
  • An incredible building with large rooms and lots of light and space.
