Job Description

Stockwell Gardens Nursery located in Lambeth is seeking an experienced Early Years Educator to join their fun and vibrant team (Monday-Friday). The nursery is an important community hub, providing much-needed support for local families. Stockwell Gardens is a large setting with bright and spacious rooms for the children to explore and develop their learning in the best way possible.

We are recruiting for Early Years Educators who can create inspiring experiences for our children, whilst establishing a nurturing environment and encouraging bravery and curiosity in our children’s development. Our Early Years educators excel in teamwork and help support the nursery as it grows into a truly fascinating setting for our children.

Job Requirements

 

  • Full and relevant child care qualification at Level 3 or above
  • Minimum of 12 months experience working in an early years setting
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
  • To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care
  • To continually strive for best practice in yourself and inspiring others
  • Have a passion for making a difference in the community
  • Must have child centered approach to teaching using creative and engaging methods

 

Working at Stockwell Gardens Nursery and Pre-School

  • The Nursery consists of a baby, toddler and preschool room
  • Total capacity of Nursery: 63
  • Opening times: 8am – 6pm
  • Safe and varied outdoor garden

Age Range: Birth-5 years
