Job Description

Marsham Street Nursery and Pre-School is based within LEYF’s Central Office in Pimlico and has wonderful transport links with National Rail, Tube Networks, and Bus Routes all close by. The Nursery is split over 3 floors, and they have access to a roof terrace as well as garden space. The Nursery has its own kitchen where our chef prepares fresh and healthy meals daily for the children.

 

As a LEYF Early Years Educator, you will have your own key children with who you will work closely with ensuring that the activities you are planning are inspiring their learning and encouraging their development. You will build close relationships with the children and their parents/ carers ensuring that routines are followed and that every day has something unique and fun in store for them.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant childcare qualification at level 3 or above.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and how this is monitored in a nursery setting.
  • At least 6 months experience working in an early year’s setting
  • To champion LEYF’s values and advocate our mission to save the world one child at a time.
  • To encourage a supportive team atmosphere and the ability to work together in a positive and compassionate way.
  • To continually strive for best practice in yourself and inspiring others.
  • To be dedicated in achieving the highest standard of education and care
  • Have a passion for making a difference in their communities.
  • A child centred approach to teaching using creative and exciting methods to engage and stimulate
