Job Description

Our spacious Camberwell Grove Nursery is currently recruiting an Early Years Educator to join them on a full-time permanent basis. Located a short walk from Denmark Hill Station and local bus routes, the nursery is an important community hub, providing much-needed support for local families.

Working with your key children, you will ensure that the activities you are planning are inspiring their learning and encouraging their curiosity. You will be responsible for observations and safeguarding the children within the setting and ensuring that every day has something unique and fun in store.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of Level 3 or above in Early Years Childcare or equivalent is essential
  • Proactively implement safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
  • You must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
  • Be able to support the management team to meet all Ofsted requirements and to ensure that these are always maintained
  • A positive and proactive attitude to work
  • A team player who uses their own initiative and who thrives working in a busy and exciting environment

  • 3 baby rooms, 1 Toddler, 1 Preschool.
  • 81 place Nursery
  • Opening Times: 7:30am-6:30pm
  • We have an amazing garden which hosts an allotment, blossoming forest area, outdoor classroom, den area, mud kitchen and soon chickens! Each room can access the garden easily into certain parts of the vast garden.
  • We have a ‘homely’ atmosphere in our nursery. This is further installed by our diverse and friendly team who are talented and committed.
