Job Description

We have an amazing opportunity for fun and inspiring educators to join our team on a part-time basis, Monday-Friday/3 pm-6 pm.

Our Carlton Hill Nursery & Pre-School is looking for Nursery Assistants or Early Years Practitioners or Nursery Practitioners who are ready to learn and progress to the next part of their careers.

In this role, you will be an essential part of our team that help support the children’s learning and development, as well as the smooth running of the nursery.

Job Requirements

 

  • Some knowledge of safeguarding, child protection
  • Experience of working in an early year’s setting
  • Supportive team atmosphere and the ability to work together in a positive and compassionate way.
  • To continually strive for best practices in yourself and inspire others.
  • To be dedicated to achieving the highest standard of education and care
  • Have a passion for making a difference in their communities.
  • A child centered approach to teaching using creative and exciting methods to engage and stimulate

Working at Carlton Hill Nursery and Pre-School

  • The Nursery consists of two baby rooms, a toddler and a preschool room across 3 floors in a large Grade two listed Victorian building
  • Total capacity of Nursery: 72
  • Opening times: 8am – 6pm
  • The nursery benefits from a larger than normal garden where the children enjoy growing their own fruit and vegetables!
