Our Bank Early years educators enjoy flexible working whilst building experience and knowledge in the Early Years sector.

Bank teachers are highly-valued and are part of the LEYF family, encouraging child development through supporting activities and experiences. The successful candidates will be enthusiastic and passionate, always willing to undertake any task required by the leadership team that creates a fun and functional environment.

Our BANK team provide cover in various LEYF nurseries in the local area. We know navigating around London can be difficult, so our BANK team are not expected to travel over an hour when supporting different locations.

Job Requirements

  • Full and relevant child care qualification at level 2 or level 3 or above.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and how this is monitored in a nursery setting.
  • At least 6 months experience working in an early year’s setting
  • To encourage a supportive team atmosphere and the ability to work together in a positive and compassionate way.
  • To continually strive for best practice in yourself and inspiring others.
  • To be dedicated in achieving the highest standard of education and care
  • Have a passion for making a difference in their communities.
  • A child centred approach to teaching using creative and exciting methods to engage and stimulate

Working at Camberwell Grove Nursery and Pre-School

  • 3 baby rooms, 1 Toddler, 1 Preschool.
  • 81 place Nursery
  • Opening Times: 7:30am-6:30pm
  • We have an amazing garden which hosts an allotment, blossoming forest area, outdoor classroom, den area, mud kitchen and soon chickens! Each room can access the garden easily into certain parts of the vast garden.
  • We have a ‘homely’ atmosphere in our nursery. This is further installed by our diverse and friendly team who are talented and committed.
