Bushy Tails Nursery and Pre-School provides exceptional Early Years education and care for children from birth to 5 years old. Located in the heart of Teddington, close to Queen’s Road and Teddington stations, our recently renovated nursery offers a bright, spacious and secure environment, set back from the main road with convenient on-site parking for families. Children enjoy a large outdoor space with three gardens and our very own allotment, giving them plenty of room to play, explore and learn in the fresh air.
Sustainability is part of everyday life at Bushy Tails. Children plant, grow and harvest a wide variety of fruit and vegetables before helping to prepare and enjoy them together. They also take part in a rich range of hands-on activities, from body painting and bread making to sensory play with foam and ice, music and nursery rhymes.
Situated next to Bushy Park, London’s largest Royal Park, we regularly take children outdoors to explore nature, spot wildlife and experience the changing seasons. These visits help children build confidence, develop a love of the natural world and support their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Hello, my name is Emma and I am the manager at Bushy Tails Nursery and Pre-School. I have been at the nursery since 2019. People would describe me as enthusiastic, encouraging and dedicated to the nursery and our children. Here at Bushy Tails, we provide children with activities to give them the confidence to explore and learn. Science activities, in particular, are very popular with our children.

Food and nutrition at LEYF
Healthy eating is important at LEYF. Our chefs, trained at our Early Years Chef Academy, understand children’s specific nutritional needs, and how to encourage children to be adventurous in their tastes. We cater for different dietary requirements and allergies.
