Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, Noah’s Ark Nursery and Pre-School provides Early Years education and childcare to children from birth to 5 years old. You can find us in Shoreditch, close to Hoxton railway station. We’re a light, spacious nursery set on two levels, with two baby rooms, a floor dedicated to pre-schoolers and a garden.
There are always lots of activities to try – from science experiments to gardening, cooking and construction. We also have comfy areas for reading, an outdoor den, a home corner and more!
A colleague has just completed the Green LEYF CACHE Level 3 training and the Green LEYF Champion, introducing knowledge gained within the nursery, particularly in the garden areas.
Our accredited chef provides all meals, using healthy recipes from LEYF’s menu.
Meet the manager
Aine, nursery manager
My name is Aine and I have been manager of Noah’s Ark Nursery & Pre-School since 1993! My most memorable moment is when I showed Princess Diana around the nursery when it first opened. We recently had the third child of a family join the nursery, which is very unusual. I also have very fond memories of my own daughter attending the nursery until she was 4.
At LEYF, all staff live our values.

We looked at a lot of nurseries and Noah’s was our favourite because of the warmth of the carers – they really seemed to care about the kids. If we couldn’t be there to cuddle our kids, we wanted to know that someone else would be, and that our kids would feel happy and supported. Our kids love Noah’s – they are happy to be dropped off in the morning, and happy when we pick them up, and they talk about (and pretend to call) their carers as well as their friends from nursery when they’re at home – and we do, too.Sarah, parent at Noah's Ark
I chose Noah's Ark for my son this year because my daughter was there the previous year and she had such a fun and positive learning experience! The staff are experienced and amazingly friendly! They are extremely helpful and they love doing what they do, which is very important! Food and nutrition at LEYF
Healthy eating is important at LEYF. Our chefs, trained at our Early Years Chef Academy, understand children’s specific nutritional needs, and how to encourage children to be adventurous in their tastes. We cater for different dietary requirements and allergies.
